1 year ago, I was blessed with the opportunity to work closely with adidas Running and Parley to co-create a running shoe using eco innovation and biometric date along with the design influence of local and cultural LA insights. We put human creativity and SpeedFactory capabilities to the test and the outcome was amazing.

When I first got invited to be a part of this co-creation, I didn't realize how big of a deal this actually really was. To be able to have an input and assist in creating a running shoe that represents LA with a huge brand like Adidas is really a dream come true. It's literally my two favorite things: Running and Sneakers, all in one project.

It also truly makes me so happy that I am an example of anything is possible. Women and minorities never really get any spotlight, and guess what?! I am BOTH and not only was I a part of the co-creation, but I was also the face of the campaign. I used to hate running 3 years ago, and now I helped co-create a RUNNING shoe. How crazy is that?! I still can't believe it. I truly feel so blessed.

To help celebrate the release of the AM4LA sneaker, adidas held a 3 day pop-up event in Santa Monica that included an installation with my pictures from the campaign literally EVERYWHERE! Also want to give a HUGE shout out to all my friends for all their support. I now know I can count on them to hype and gas me up. (haha)

Thank you adidas for this experience and for brining our creation to life.
