With so many different running sneakers out in the market, it can be overwhelming as to which ones to go with. As for me, to be honest, it was a trial/error thing. I tried different ones at the beginning until I found the ones that worked for me. I knew when sneakers weren't right for me because I would feel pain immediately and it just was not a comfortable run. We are all different, so it really all depends on what works best for you and it might take a few tries to get the right ones.
I always get asked which running sneakers I recommend and my answer is Nike Zoom Pegasus 32 and adidas Ultra BOOST. My first comfortable running sneaker was the Nike Peg 32, so comfortable I have 3 pairs. I found these had the best stability for my running preference and provided enough support to make my run smoother. When I first started running, I experienced A LOT of calf pain and once I started using these, the pain went away. Just like the Peg 32s, the adidas Ultra BOOST also provide a very smooth, comfortable ride. The boost technology on these literally make you feel like you are running on clouds. I find these are best for me when I go on longer runs. I also have 3 pairs of these and use them for running and for everyday wear.
