NikeLab "Blackout" Flyknit Racer

I'm always asked what my favorite pair in my collection is and to be honest, I don't really have JUST one. I like to rephrase that question to "What's my favorite sneaker silhouette". That's an easier question for me to answer.

My favorite sneaker silhouette would hands down be the Nike Flyknit Racer. Why? For multiple reasons like its comfort, lightweight, flyknit (I love everything and anything flyknit), and most of all, because of its slim look. Most shoes are catered to men even when they are unisex, so they tend to be a lot bulkier and with the Flyknit Racer, they are way more slim which makes it look more feminine.

I first saw images of these NikeLab "Blackout" Flyknit Racer's on Instagram, but figured they were probably custom colored ones. A couple months later I started seeing them pop up on my Twitter feed from reliable sources so I couldn't wait to get my hands on them. Being a NikeLab sneaker, I knew it would be really hard to get, so I was mentally prepared to take an L for them. I never get lucky with the SNKRS app, but this time, luck was definitely on my side! I was able to get my pair and I couldn't be happier! :)

This NikeLab "Blackout" Flyknit Racer is my 12th pair of Flyknit Racers. Even though they're called the "blackout" racers, they have a bit of a grey weaving in them. Regardless they're still hella dope and for sure will be heavy in my rotation.

Meet my 12 Flyknit children :)
