For the past 3 years, I've attended Wanderlust108, a mindful triathlon that includes a 5k Run, yoga and mediation. This year, it was a little different. For my fourth year, not only did I get to attend, but I go to the lead the 5K run stretches for both the San Francisco and Santa Monica events.
Prior to this SF trip, I had only been to SF once before with adidas for the launch of the UltraBOOST X, so I was super stoked to be visiting again even if it was only for 30 hours. I'm not used to traveling solo, so this was something I was quite nervous about, but it actually wasn't bad at all. I walked and walked and walked some more. I got to explore parts of SF I didn't get to see the first time I went. It is definitely such a beautiful city.
Wanderlust Santa Monica had been the only Wanderlustfest I had attended, so I wasn't sure what to expect at the SF event. One thing for sure is that it was much colder, but the experience was unforgettable. I got the chance to meet so many of my instagram friends for the first time. Another cool thing I was able to do while in SF was to take over the (RED) instagram account.
A week after SF, it was now time for the Santa Monica event. Santa Monica is home, so of course I couldn't wait to lead the stretches there. It was so great getting to see so many familiar faces and cheer everyone on.
