20 Years Later - Air Max 97

Bold by day, reflective by night. 20 years later and I have never loved them more than now.

Designed by Christian Tresser, the Nike Air Max 97 was inspired by Japan’s high-speed Bullet Trains and features a mix of leather, foam, and full-length visible Air.

When I first saw the OG "Silver Bullet" colorway released again in April, I couldn't wait to get my hands on them, but of course, just like every highly sought after sneaker, it was so HARD to find at first. I usually try first on the Nike SNKRS app, but took the hardest L ever all because I didn't wake up on time for the release. I was still able to get my hands on a pair but even now, they've been restocked so many times, I've seen them just sitting on shelves.

Fast forward to a month later, the Gold colorway was being released again and this time, I wasn't going to get ANY L's. I headed straight to Blends Beverly Hills and made sure to secure my pair by being the first one there as soon as they opened (total hypebeast move, I know, but you gotta do what you gotta do lol).

I've been wearing both of these sneakers non-stop ever since I got them. They literally go with anything and everything! Such a good classic pair to have in your rotation.
